MAMMA - Museum of Modern Art in Madeira Opened its doors in July 2021. With an area of 800 m2, it is an innovative and daring museum, unique in the panorama of the cultural offer of Funchal. It contains about 300 works, including paintings and various types of installations, distributed over 14 thematic zones, in which creativity is the motto. Authored by the madeiran artist Rui Sá, which brings together 15 years of artistic creation, the exhibition challenges the visitor to discover a new vision of the Art of the new millennium, in an avant-garde perspective of great visual and intrusive impact.
